This is the personal website of Manohar Negi (manoharnegi.com). It’s a small site, and it collects very little. This page explains what it does collect, why, and how to have it removed.

What I collect

When you download my CV. The résumé download form asks for your name, company, and a contact (email or phone). On submit, I also record the time, your browser’s user-agent, and the referring page. That’s the only place the site actively collects personal data.

Cookies. The site sets only a few strictly functional cookies:

  • a short-lived (~10 minutes) signed cookie that unlocks the CV download after you submit the form;
  • a signed cookie (~30 days) that keeps a private page unlocked once you’ve entered its passphrase;
  • a preference cookie for light/dark theme.

There are no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

Comments. Blog comments are powered by Giscus, which runs on GitHub Discussions. If you comment, you do so through your GitHub account under GitHub’s own terms and privacy policy — I don’t collect anything separately.

Why I collect it

The CV-form details are used only to know who’s reading my résumé and to reply if appropriate. Nothing more — no marketing lists, no selling or sharing of your data.

Where it’s stored

Form submissions may be stored in, or sent through, these providers, who process the data on my behalf:

  • Upstash (Redis) — storage of submissions;
  • Google Sheets (via Google Apps Script) — a readable log;
  • Resend — to email me a notification.

The site itself is hosted on AWS Amplify.

How long I keep it

I keep CV-form submissions only as long as they’re useful, and delete them on request. The functional cookies expire on their own, as noted above.

Your rights

You can ask me to access, correct, or delete any personal data you’ve submitted — just email me and I’ll action it. This reflects your rights under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.
